For my info graphic project, I am planning to do it on the Heifer Foundation which is an organization that is dedicated to help families from third world countries get out of poverty. They do this buy giving livestock to families, and are trained to take care of it. One animal helps provide some resources that can be used to feed or even make some extra money. The Heifer foundation takes this quote very seriously,
You can give some money to help buy a share of an animal or flock of animals for a family, or you can purchase the whole animal. Let's say if you were feeling generous, a whole cow would be $500, and if you were tight on money, you can help out with $50 for a share. Not only are there cows to buy, there are llamas, flock of chicks, bees, sheep, water buffalo, rabbits, and pigs. Click here to give!
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish you feed him for a lifetime".Here is a link to the story of one family that was helped by this program.

Wow that's a pretty cool topic. Im wondering and curious as in how you will be displaying this information but I think you have a lot of elements to work with, because you can use maps for the geography and pictographs for representing the animals and people..
