My Work

My major is Graphic Design, but I really do enjoy illustrating. I hope that one day I can combine the two. Enjoy!

Why Graphic Design?

It all started in Middle School. When there was no one to chat with on AIM and no Neopoints needed to be earned, I searched for something to keep myself occupied. I was in 6th or 7th grade when my friend introduced me to making websites. I started off with Geocities, and then slowly made my way into coding with simple html like frames and small pop out windows. This was the time when the "it" font was Baby Kruffy and not Helvetica. From making these personal websites, I started to make my own banners with my favorite cartoon characters, which lead me to making layouts for Xanga and creating event fliers for my highschool.

All this time I was creating because I wanted my personal stuff on the web to look aesthetically pleasing. Finally learning about Graphic Design in college has been a real eye opener and has convinced me that this profession was made for me. I'm very excited about this semester, and the kind of work I'll produce in this class.
